I’ll pay whatever price other artists paid to be successful - BNXN

By Taiwo Okanlawon

Nigerian singer-songwriter Daniel Benson, known professionally as BNXN, has vowed to do whatever it takes to be successful in the music industry.

The ‘Finesse’ crooner said he knows his colleagues paid “prices” and are not successful just because of their talents. He said he would tow the same path to get the “biggest song” of his career.

Reposting a snippet of an unreleased song he shared on X, BNXN wrote: “This is going to be the biggest song in my entire career. I will do whatever it takes.

“I will pay whatever price you people pay cause I know it’s not just the music.

“Please help me God.”

BNXN has enjoyed fame since establishing himself in the Nigerian music landscape.

In 2021, the songwriter released his first extended play titled ‘Sorry I’m Late’. He unveiled another EP the following year titled Bad Since ’97.

On October 5, 2023, the singer released his much-anticipated debut album, “Sincerely, Benson,” a collection of fifteen tracks, featuring previously released hits such as “Pray,” “Sweet Tea (Aduke),” and “Gwagwalada,” which include collaborations with renowned artists like Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez.

Additionally, the album showcases BNXN’s musical versatility through partnerships with acclaimed musicians such as 2Baba, Popcaan, Taves, and Headie One.

In 2022, the singer won the ‘Next Rated’ award at the 15th edition of The Headies.
